Assume You’ve Been Hired by College Board
And my students’ AP Daily resemblance videos — Topics 1.3 and 2.7

In my Macroeconomics course this past semester, I challenged my students.
“Assume,” I said, “that you been hired by College Board to produce a Macroeconomics AP Daily resemblance video, with this video to correspond in appearance or qualities to any of the videos found here.
Two of my students, Elaina L. and Jonathan F. readily accepted my challenge.
Below, Elaina’s Topic 1.3 AP Daily resemblance video.
This video provides viewers with various practice problems and thus seeks to build on the Topic 1.3 video produced by Macroeconomics teacher Matt Romano.
Below, Jonathan’s Topic 2.7 AP Daily resemblance video, with this video also providing viewers with various practice problems and thus seeking to build on the Topic 2.7 video produced by Macroeconomics teacher Jennifer Raphaels.
Sidenote #1
This past year, Justin H., another one of my Macroeconomics students, assumed that he had been hired by Marco Learning to produce a video on the topic of Economies of Scale. Below, Justin’s Marco Learning resemblance video.
Sidenote #2
During the 2020–2021 school year, my AP US History students also produced a number of resemblance videos.
Sidenote #3
After having viewed some of the above, Trevor Packer (the head of College Board’s Advanced Placement Program) said, “I hope many other teachers learn about this practice of yours and imitate it — it seems like such a powerful way to help students develop a strong understanding of specific topics in courses that can otherwise, in the wrong hands, become a forced march through content.”
