Topic 4.12 — African Americans in the Early Republic: Seven short answer questions that relate to the two-to-three million blacks, both the enslaved and the free, living throughout the country from 1800–1848.
Topic 4.13 — The Society of the South in the Early Republic: Thirty questions that relate to the culture, practices, traditions, customs, and beliefs of those who dominated a region of the country, in the years leading up to and following the Louisiana Purchase, where the economy was primarily based on agriculture and slavery.
