Short answer questions designed to help students review for the annual exam and that relate to all-important topics appearing in the Course and Exam Description

Topic 7.3 — The Spanish American War: Fifteen questions that relate to a ten-week armed conflict between Spain and the United States in 1898.

Topic 7.4 — The Progressives: Ten questions that relate to those who from 1890 to 1920 wanted the government to take a more active role in addressing the problems caused by industrialization, urbanization, immigration, and political corruption.

Topic 7.5 — World War I: Sixteen questions that relate to a global war that originated in Europe and lasted from 1914 to 1918.

Topic 7.7 — The 1920s (Innovations in Technology): Ten questions that relate to the impact of new technology in the 1920s.

Topic 7.8 — The 1920s (Cultural and Political Controversies): Ten questions that relate to various debates that took place in the 1920s

Topic 7.10 — The New Deal Fifteen questions that relate to a series of programs, public work projects, financial reforms, and regulations enacted by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in the United States between 1933 and 1939.

Topic 7.12 — World War II: Twenty-seven questions that relate to a war that involved the vast majority of the world’s countries — including all the great powers — and lasted from 1939 to 1945
